Day 90:Escape - XM 78

Making a visit yet again to the Lifestyle section, the XM Bootcamp makes a stop at the new channel Escape.

Escape is a clone of Sunny. In fact, I can't tell any difference in either channel. The same man who programmed Sunny (and may still be doing so) is programming Escape. They are both using the same music library. While I don't think the playlists are the same, Escape is really the commercial-free Sunny. Now XM has two easy listening (or beautiful music) channels.

Some songs I heard were "I'll Follow the Sun" by Chet Atkins, "Dance With Me" by Johnny Douglas, "Somethin' Stupid" by Percy Faith, "Route 66 Theme" by Nelson Riddle, "O Solo Mio" by Tommy Garrett, "Mame" by Kostelanets, "Strangers in the Night" by George Shearing and "Personality" by Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme.

If ever I'm in the mood for this type of music I'll now tune into Escape. It is nice that XM has this type of music.
