Day 93:Fuego - XM 90
The XM Bootcamp returns to the Latin channels with a visit to Fuego.
Fuego is being promoted as being a new XM channel, but it's really the same as what the channel used to be called (Alegria). The new name better suits its format, which is reggaeton. It's still a hip-hop/reggae channel.
Some of the songs I heard were "Yo Voy" by Zion y Lennox, "Latigo" by Andy Boy, "Dale Don Dale" by Don Omar, "Mirame" by Daddy Yankee, "Tuya Soy" by Ivy Queen, "Mulata" by Gallego, "Ay Amor" by Hector y Vito and "Paleta" by Wisin y Yandel.
I'm not exactly sure if Fuego is programmed well but I think it's pretty good. XM is at least making an effort in improving their Latin programming. I'm sure as the years go on that more improvements will take place. It's pretty cool that XM has a Spanish rap/hip-hop channel.
