Day 101:enLighten - XM 34

The XM Bootcamp's final visit to the Christian channels is one that debuted recently, enLighten.

This is a southern gospel channel and has been a good addition to XM Radio (it was already part of XM's On-Line service as well as on Direct TV). This is Christian music with a country sound. I'm not sure if there is a DJ...I did a guy announce the e-mail address and phone number. I'm sure there will be a DJ or more in the future.

Some of the songs I heard were "No Wonder I'm so Happy" by the Southern Brothers, "Roll Away" by Legacy Five, "My Past Has Passed" by the Kingsmen, "He Touched Me" by Backwood Quartet, "Soon We Will See" by Greater Vision, "Had it Not Been" by Kevin Spencer, "He Saw it All" by the Booth Brothers and "When He Chose Me" by 2nd Generation.

I'll be checking this channel out from time to time. I think it's great that XM now has a southern gospel channel. It would be nice if The Torch could return to the satellites, which would give XM 4 Christian music channels. enLighten has a lot of promise and I think it will live up to those promises.
