Day 99:The Move - XM 80
Making a final visit to the Dance channels, the XM Bootcamp visits The Move.
The Move was known as an underground dance channel but is now being billed as House and Progressive. As far as I know the format hasn't changed much, if it changes at all. Maybe it plays more well known songs now but I still think the focus is on my rarely heard dance music. There are plenty of remix programs but since I'm not that familiar with The Move, I don't know what they are.
Earlier I heard "Def Mix" by David Morales, which featured many different songs. I also heard "V Gets Jazzy" by Louie Vega/Mr. V and "El Tambor" by Osulande, among a few others.
The Move is not a channel I listen to very often. I have to be in the mood to listen to dance music. I do think The Move is cool though. What I like about it is that the music hardly ever stops, which is what a dance channel should be like. You most likely find a dance channel like this on FM (and you probably won't find a dance channel period). It's just one of the many channels that makes XM special.
